Saw the 1st hummer -- female ruby throat -- on about 15 Sept. She has been resident since, along with a couple of other migrants Ruby-Throats.
Plants they prefer:
Golden Shrimp Plant
Cape Honeysuckle
Sleeping Hibiscus (Turk's Cap Hibiscus)
Queen Ixora (spelling questionable)
Preferred Feeder:
"Four Flower" Feeder.
When the live oaks bloom and the Hong Kong Orchid Trees blossom they abandon my feeders for a month or so for these other sources. Pollen from the oaks seems to be "good" to them.
I live in Coconut Grove -- they are present at Castellow Hammock at about the same time....
