I went to the wetlands on 232 st., across from the Wastewater Treatment Plant to hopefully find the Eurasian Wigeon. After sticking it out through some rain, the American Wigeons and the Eurasian Wigeon were found towards the southwest end of the wetland. While watching them, the flock took off and landed at the other end, northwest section. While there, Larry Manfredi and his son Phillip showed up so we all got to look at the Wigeon through his scope (what a treat to see it close up and not just through the binoculars!) He had the scope set up in the corner just after coming through the gate and we could see where the Wigeons were near the middle of the wetland.
