Hey everyone, this morning I checked out my usual spot with the same results as yesterday. Today one other Magnolia came to play, I relocated the adult MAWA and also an immature. The Black-and-white was missing today. Here are the birds I saw in 25 minutes.

Magnolia Warbler
American Redstart
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Palm Warbler
Blue Gray Gnatcatcher
Mockingbird
Blue Jay
Mourning Dove
Eurasian Collared Dove
Boat-tailed Grackle

I had to leave to make it to an interview on time. With the news that I have a new job I decided to head to Barnes to celebrate with the birds since my wife was working. Barnes was really windy like everywhere else, I did add a Lifer!! The Indigo Bunting has been evading me for about two years now. Every time that it is reported we head out to find one but somehow it never shows itself. As soon as I got out of my car I heard some parakeets flying over me I got my bino and focused on two Monk Parakeet. I had a great time watching a Brown Thrasher foraging on the ground thrashing the leaves throwing them left and right. There was so much to see in the tropical hardwood hammock that I stayed for 45 min. After that I walked half of the lake and observed a Kingfisher catch some lunch and perch up about 30 feet away allowing awesome views, that's when my wife called me to pick her up from work. We are probably heading out soon to find some more birds. Only got to bird the park for an hour and 10 minutes before I had to run. Here is what I saw.

Indigo Bunting (lifer!)
Monk Parakeet
Ovenbird
Northern Parula
Yellow-throated Warbler
