I was around the house most of the weekend, and was able to do some yard birding. Warblers are still around--I had Palm, Prairie, BT Blue, Yellow-throated, Am Redstart, B&W, and several Yellowthroats. No buntings were along the canal (there have been Painted and Indigo Buntings for the past two weeks), but I did have the return of our local wintering Short-tailed Hawk (light morph) circling over the yard, joining the wintering Kestrels and the resident Cooper's Hawk, both seen Sunday as well.
