We had a great time visiting the Cape today to bird and also climb the Historical Lighthouse which was awesome.
While on the trail we observed 3 Merlin scouting for their lunch!

We saw the following in about a two and a half hour span:

Great Egret
Merlin
Sharp-shinned Hawk
American Kestrel
Palm Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
American Redstart
Red-eyed Vireo
Gray Catbird
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Cardinal
Royal Tern
Laughing Gull
Magnificent Frigatebird
Double-crested Cormorant
Northern Gannet (possibly but we needed a scope to positively confirm - there was a group of 6 about 500 yards out on the ocean by the lighthouse)

Other Wildlife observed:
Cassius Blue
Zebra Longwing
Julia
White Peacock
Cloudless Sulphur
Florida White
Queen
Viceroy
Rattlebox Moth
Orange Bluet
Carolina Saddlebags
Marsh Rabbit
Golden-silk Spider
Palmetto Walkingstick

There were also other dragonflies we did not identify.
We always love birding the Cape enjoying the great outdoors observing the beautiful wildlife! Good birding to all.

Nature is Awesome!
Angel & Mariel
