A quick trip this morning to Lucky Hammock and the Annex was fairly productive. I think some birds have been pushed to the Annex. Lincoln's and Grasshopper Sparrows and the Brown-crested Flycatcher were there. There were 5 woodpecker species, including sapsucker. Harry/Hariette was missing.

Other birds of interest: Broad-winged Hawk (2 on wires, calling), Short-tailed Hawk (light), Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Flynn's), Barred Owl, Cedar Waxwings, House and Carolina Wrens. There were 11 warbler species, including Yellow (at its usual spot), Northern Waterthrush, American Redstart, Black-and-white and 2 Yellow-breasted Chats.

An alligator was bellowing in the canal.
