Sorry for the incomplete bird, but this is all they left me. I found these remains under a large branch that I assumed was a feeding perch for a hawk, kestrel, merlin, or owl, There was quite a bit of bird scat around and even on the wing. I have killdeer around & I think it might belong to one. Look at the light tan legs. I have a bold Kestrel fly through every day around the bird feeder & keeps many of the birds wary. Also have barn owls every night. Maybe this is a killdeer from the ag fields?
