In between errands(and thunderstorms) I again stopped by Indian Hammocks Park. I first went to the Fig tree with all the fruit I described yesterday. Within 10 min. I located the Bay-Breasted Warbler there. I guess because I was there between storms, the birds were really chomping down on all those berries. It was hard to know which one to look at first. There were a couple I was unable to I.D., but most were the more common ones like the Yellow throated,Northern Parulas,Prairies,Palm Warblers,Black-throated Blues,etc.. I did not see the Townsends today but I was there only 20 min. and covered a very small area. It surely is great fun just watching all those berries being eaten! Indian Hammocks Park is definitely worth the stop! I left just in time as on the way home, lightening sent a huge white fireball to the ground a very short distance away!
