Migration halted over Florida + Sparrows up North

Well, it's probably a good thing that migration has come to a halt over Florida, since there seems to be a good assortment of birds around and there are probably more to be discovered. The outlook for the next few days is more of the same: south winds and no migration. I'll post any updates to the weather on Badbirdz-Reloaded. In the meantime, we're having some a serious SparrowFest up in the Northeast. I've posted some photos to my flickr site (the first 8 are from yesterday):

And here's a video of a White-crowned Sparrow trying out his newfound skills...interesting how young males of both Zonotrichia species (the other being White-throated Sparrow) practice singing this time of year...
