Catbirds, palm warblers, and black throated blue warblers are moving through Hoechoka Hammock, North Broward, PArkland. Vultures continue to move southward at high altitude. Red-shouldered hawk taking up quarters and an osprey is now semi-permanent. Several other hawks at high levels and my skills aren't the best at that level. Coopers probably.

Mourning dove numbers increasing and ring-necked dove numbers decreasing (more vulnerable to predation?). Black birds in huge numbers; mix of grackles, red-winged, etc. They fly over from Mt. Trashmore to their roosts west of Coral Spring. Blue jay numbers swelling noticeably as are (strangely?) mockingbirds. Although there is plenty of feed the resident mockers are in a frenzy over the intrusion. Jealously guarded are the Dahoon holly, Beauty berry, coffee, and the small short leaf figs.

Each day the birds increase, the humidity falls: can 69 degrees be far off?
