I got a Philadelphia Vireo in front of the parking lot on the east side of Old Cutler. There was very little else in this area. Only 8 species of warblers in total. Most of the activity is near a fruiting ficus directly across the paved path near the bathroom. Warblers seen here included Tennessee, Parula, Yellow-throated, Prairie, Ovenbird, Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, all in singles, and about 20-30 Black-throated Blues. Also a single Red-eyed Vireo. The BTB's outnumber all other birds put together. A couplr of Painted Buntings were also in this same area, and some Merlin were really pushing my buttons. I mean I was getting some dark thoughts, like "Incoming! Fire!!"
The Philly saved an otherwise dismal stop. Strange how one little green bird can brighten up your day!
