The only excitement in the Mid/Upper Keys on Th was finding 2 AMERICAN PIPITS (my first in the Keys) around the puddles at the west end of the Marathon Airport. A GLOSSY IBIS and a PECTORAL SANDPIPER (both pretty rare in the Keys) were also there. Otherwise it was pretty dull from a non-hawk perspective yesterday. 269 PEREGRINES was fun at the Hawk Watch and 3 more MISSISSIPPI KITES gives us an amazing 69 for the season so far. Almost 1000 total raptors yesterday.
