Great reports from all over the state. Reports of Blue-winged and Golden-winged at Spanish River Park, Golden-winged in the backyard at Ormond Beach, plus some good sightings closer to home. The winds are expected to pick up again out of the NE on Sunday, so we need to get out between today and Saturday. This is Rock Jetty's famous Octoberfest. If you procrastinate, you will miss it!

I plan to bird this afternoon, tomorrow morning, maybe tomorrow afternoon, and definitely a big effort on Saturday. Get out there folks, call in sick, take a vacation day, blame it on your dog eating your homework, anything! Just bird! (if you find a Blue or Golden-winged, Philly Vireo, or Wood Thrush, be sure to call me toll free at 305-338-7392. Your call may be monitored for quality assurance.)
