Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP has been so quiet the past 10 days, that it was like a vacuum. But, before you order cheese with my whine -- I did find some visiting birds today. There were 12 Prairie Warblers, 6 Northern Parulas, 15 Common Yellowthroats and a new crop of 10 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. Two of the Painted Buntings are still around and while catbirds are still strong (32), the Yellow-rumped Warblers are at a season low of 9.

Three of the Prairie Warblers were singing goofus renditions of their song. These boys better shape up if they want dates.
