Hi Vince,
I was also at the Annex (which I have warmfully dubbed Woodpecker Cove) this past Saturday and spotted the following woodpeckers:

male and female pileated (inside telephone pole on west side of road)

male and female downy (on tree on east side of road)

male and female northern flicker (chased by male pileated when they landed on his telephone pole)

male red-bellied (hanging out next to one of the flickers on telephone pole)

The funny thing is, the week before, while birding with a friend in that same area, we could've sworn we saw a hairy but decided it must've been a downy since the former is not supposedly found this far south. Good spot and I'll definitely be on the lookout for the bird next week.

Chihuahuas,
Raul.
