We spotted a Painted Bunting at AD Barnes for the first time this season on 09-20-07. It was a beautiful male and was hanging around the feeder area. We have spotted what we believed to have been a female a week later and also relocated the male while birding with a group of other birders.
They are awesome little birds that migrate huge distances.
