This morning after dropping of Mariel at work I proceeded to the back of the parking lot to bird the trees, it seems as the rain has caused birds to stay here and not move over for a little while. This morning I saw 5 species of warbler in about 15 minutes looking into only three trees that are at the end of the parking lot. Lots of other birds too.
Were is what I saw.

1 Northern Parula (beautiful adult male)
7 American Redstart (4 male 3 female)
4 Black-throated Blue (3 male 1 Female)
1 Common Yellowthroat (female)
1 Ovenbird
2 BG Gnatcatcher
1 Anhinga (adult female)
2 Blue Jay
4 Northern Mockingbird
10 E. Starlings
12 Boat-tailed Grackle (8 female 4 male)
15 RW Blackbird (adult males & female and 4 first summer males)
5 Mourning Doves

This afternoon we will most probably be birding Matheson and maybe add a couple of lifers for us. The FAB 4 are around here somewhere we just need to find them. We will be out looking for Black-throated Green, Cerulean and the Tennessee. Good luck to everyone birding out there today.
