Speaking for myself,my fellow field trip leaders and the birders of the Tropical Audubon Society, our greatest source of enjoyment is sharing our passion for the flora and fauna of South Florida with young birders, some of whom have developed into outstanding naturalists in their own rite, world famous experts in neo-tropical birds or even world renowned bird artists. Over the past 25 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of birding with Mitchell Lysinger and Rafael Galvez, when they were youngsters, and in more recent times with Alex Harper, Felipe Guajardo,Andy Bankert, and the always energetic Anthony. Felipe, I have no doubt that you will be successful in your future endeavors and in whatever career path you may choose.We will miss your presence, your posts and your friendship. Life is good.......................mentoring young birders.
