No golf this morning - due to a steady rain - so I decided A.D. Barnes might have a drizzle of warblers dropping in. Ten (10) species of warbler including Northern Parula, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, Prairie, Palm, Black-and-White, American Redstart, Worm-eating and Ovenbird were spotted between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. using one of those undersized umbrellas and the rain never let up. Note to self: Get a bigger umbrella. Red-eyed Vireos (one making chway note) and a Summer Tanager were also seen. The AFLAC duck continues to use the nature center fountain/pond as his home base and the Red Junglefowl continues to escape cats and the practioners of Santeria (hope he bought some of that insurance from the duck). Life is good............... I say...I say... I mean... I mean...I don't know what I mean!

Remember......your never too old to enjoy your childhood!
