TAS walk in A.D. Barnes Park

A group of 30 excellent birders gathered this morning in A.D. Barnes Park to observe fall migrants. We weren't disappointed and had good looks at most birds. A fruiting ficus tree near the lake attracted many warblers, orioles and tanagers. We found 11 warbler species, including a shy Tennessee. A perched Chuck-will's-widow (on a skinny palm frond!) wasn't shy and allowed us to gawk and snap photos.

We got parrot neck instead of warbler neck looking at a beautiful female Eclectus Parrot (native to Australia) in the Nature Center hammock. Several people took photos and until they post them, below is a link:
