Sounds like this is a habitat issue. What type of habitat are you visiting in Bouynton? Pinelands would have very little right now, so you're better off in hammock type areas or parks with large oaks or fruiting figs. Heaver shrubs nearby will add to the variety.

*Perhaps someone on the board can recommend some locations near you.

If not, and it's withing you means, you are welcome to visit the places mentioned in Miami. I assure you we get no more different birds than the rest of south Florida, with the exception of the Florida Keys. Being much farther west, the Keys get birds in much the same way as the Gulf Coast. Heck, they are almost another country!
