My wife just saw one in Davie, on a road that is east of University Drive, running from Sterling Rd to Griffin. Same area we saw two White-faced Whistling Ducks last Sunday morning.....

: On Sunday I saw a pair of unusual geese that landed in a lake at Cypress Bend condominiums in Pompano Beach. A male and female, they had "spectacles" of brown around their eyes, buff-colored breasts with a dark brown patch in the middle, rust-colored wing feathers, dark tail feathers, bright pink feet and bills that were white and pinkish. I referred to the Sibley guide and found a match under Exotics -- Egyptian Goose, which Sibley says can occasionally be found in California.
