I noted in my shrubs today a female Black-throated Blue warbler and also a couple of Redstarts this past week. The Black-throated Blue was a first sighting in my yard. I am also waiting for the hummers! My firebushes are quite large this year, with plenty of blooms and a new plant(Pavonia Bahamensis) is now 5 ft. tall and blooming. According to Roger Hammer the Hummers really like this shrub.
