I went back to the canal to try and get some photos of the Kentucky Warbler. When I arrived birds were moving all over, back and forth over the canal and flying in from all around. This was a big change from the three warbler species from the night before. I called "Larry the Great" to let him know and he came to help sort through all the birds.
Here is the list:
Great Crested Flycatcher
Eastern Wood Pewee
Least Flycatcher
Alder Flycatcher
Warbling Vireo
White-eyed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Prothonotary
Tennessee
Parula
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Black and White
Black Throated Blue
Blackburnian
Yellow Throated
Prairie
Yellow
Kentucky
Wormeating
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellow Throat
I also birded the Annex but didn't add anything there but added a few birds at Royal Palm
Blue-headed Vireo
Black Whiskered Vireo
Louisiana Waterthrush
Swainson's Warbler
The only place I didn't bird at Royal Palm was the strech where Susan saw the possible Thick-billed Vireo...ARRRG!
Note to Whiner: Where were you!!!!!
I may post a few not so good photos later. Most of the birds where high in the trees which does not make for good photos.
