I birded about two hours this morning and had 9-species of warbler as well as Baltimore Oriole, 7-Alder Flycatchers and truck loads of Bobolinks. There was a Peregrine in the farm field at 202 ave. and 9336.
Prothonotary Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
American Redstart
I have had up to two Chestnut-sided Warblers at the C-111E canal and one at the Annex. My first Chestnut-sided Warbler of the season was about a week and a half ago at the Annex. I have included a poor photo of one from the C-111E canal, I forgot to bring my flash.
I thought I heard a Kentucky Warbler this morning at the C-111E canal but dismissed it as a distant Ovenbird. Roberto and Trey saw a Kentucky this evening where I heard the bird calling.
