Out at Green Cay in Boynton this morning there were few warblers (1 yellow-throated, Am. Redstarts) but there was one very different sight - distinctly greenish on top, eye ring, clear yellow wing bars. Another birder had seen it the day before and offered a Chestnut-sided as a possibility. I checked several guides and it looks good for non-breeding or immature plumage. Any thoughts from you experts?
A beautiful pair of Baltimore Orioles were there as well as lots of Red-eyed Vireos and the usual swarms of waders. We saw Palm Warblers there 2-3 weeks ago but they seem to have passed right on through ;(
