Many birds motored south last night, leaving Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP on the quiet side today. I shamelessly borrowed sighting observations from Michelle Davis and Carl Edwards in order to pump up the list. The following 2 lists are birds of interest (to me) from both places:

CAPE FLORIDA:
Northern Harrier (2)
Cooper's Hawk
Merlin
Solitary Sandpiper (2)
Spotted Sandpiper
Chuck-will's-widow

Eastern Kingbird
Gray Kingbird (3)
Red-eyed Vireo (17)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (42)
Veery (2)
12 warbler species, including: Cape May (7), Black-throated Blue (6), Prothonotary, Worm-eating (4) and Yellow-breasted Chat
Bobolink (40)

CRANDON BEACH:
Reddish Egret
Black-bellied Plover (2)
Wilson's Plover (4)
Piping Plover (8)
American Avocet (unusual for Crandon)
Short-billed Dowitcher (confirmed by vocalization)
