Me, my father and about 10other birders took a small field trip to Charles Deering Estate today. A couple of good birds, but I left early with my dad so I may have missed some other birds seen by the rest of the group, or seen other birds the others didnt see.

Seen:
Northern Parula
Ovenbird
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Palm Warbler
Purple Martin
Tree Swallow
White Ibis
Northern Cardinal
Yellow-crowned Night Heron
Great Blue Heron
Tricolored Heron
Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture
European Starling
Red-breasted Merganser
Pied-billed Grebe
Ring-billed Gull
Brown Pelican
Double-creasted Cormorant
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Gray Catbird
Northern Mockingbird
Mourning Dove
White-crowned Pigeon
White-winged Parakeet
Red-winged Blackbird

Heard:
Northern Flicker
Great-creasted Flycather
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Blue Jay

There nay have been more I forgot to mention. On the drive over there I spotted some Red-masked Parakeets and Common Myna.
