We spotted a Prothonotary Warbler on the trail that meets the canal, in the open area just before the canal in the Brazilian Pepper behind the big Strangler Fig. Beautiful full adult male. At A.D. Barnes nice mixed flock including-Yellow-throated, Prairie, Am. Redstart.and Northern Waterthrush. Worm-eating at Castellow Hammock. We eventually were able to weave our way through the police blockades to visit Old Cutler wetlands. Nothing new to report except for maybe Northern Shovelors. It was VERY SCARY when we first exited onto Old Cutler not knowing what was going on with 100 plus cop cars and absolutely no place else to go but there. Everything was blocked off. What we go thourgh for migration. YIKES!!
