Unlike today, we didn't have an assist from the rain. We found 6 warbler species (Parula, BT Blue, Prairie, Redstart, Ovenbird, N. Waterthrush) as well as several Red-eyed Vireos. A near-adult Yellow-crowned Night-Heron was a bit of a surprise in Matheson.

We got to Fairchild shortly after 10, where we did a loop including the butterfly garden, rainforest, and keys coastal habitat. A nice flock of Atala butterflies provided the highlight of the Fairchild portion of the trip.
