Trey and I found a Lark Sparrow near Lucky Hammock this morning. This was fortunate since we went there hoping to see: Lark Sparrow!. How lucky is that? About 400 feet north of Lucky Hammock there is a dirt road that cuts across the shrubby area towards the large field on the east side. The Lark Sparrow was on the east side of the shrubs about 100 feet south of this dirt road. We heard it before seeing it.

We tried very early at Royal Palm, then Lucky Hammock, and finished at the Annex. Other than the Lark Sparrow, we saw NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, a couple of Alder and Least Flycatchers, and about 3 1/2 species of warbler.
