I've had many adults latch onto me. They are vicious. However, I can tell you there is nothing like being bitten by an adult Green Iguana! I grabbed one in my front yard back whenI was in midde school, and it held on fro at least fifteen minutes. Everytime I would try to yank my thumb out, it would bite down tighter.
Now I'm a little more cautious when I grab a big iguana, needless to say.
