After 3 days of east winds, a few seabirds came into viewing range yesterday (2/25). At noon, 2 Parasitic Jaegers were doing their twists and turns. Another jaeger was farther out and looked heavier-bodied. It remains "jaeger sp." The male Frigatebird keeps his red pouch partially inflated now. All of the Northern Gannets seen were adults and heading north. The largest flock was 14. The Laughing and Lesser Black-backed Gulls are very handsome now and can be seen on Crandon Flats at low tide. The adult and immature Great Black-backed Gulls are still on Powell Bridge.

In Baggs, several Prairie and 3 male Black-and-white Warblers have come in. The Western Kingbird can usually be seen early. We're missing 58 Northern Parulas. Does anyone have them??
