As of last week there wasn't anything unusual at Eco Pond. We have been seeing a few Spoonbills and White Pelicans, Gull-billed Tern, a few Least Terns, Black-necked Stilts and the usual wading birds.
The Homestead/Bear Lade Canal Road is still closed. Don't have an opening date as of yet.
Walked through Mahogany Hammock late this morning. Saw & heard many White-eyed Vireos, 2 Northern Parulas, a Black & White Warbler and a Prothonotary Warbler. Mosquitoes weren't too bad.
