I took note of LM's comment that it was nice to know that we still have some bobwhite left. Is everyone aware that one of the largest "farms" for quail is just off of Krome Avenue north of Homestead. They raise the quail for hunt camps. I would suspect that besides the indigenous ones left there are some escapees occasionally.
