The front dropped some warblers into Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Starting at the south end of the Pond Trail, I found 4 flocks of Northern Parulas, the first group with 20-22 birds. The other flocks were along the path near the curve (toward north), near the restrooms and in Sea Grapes near No Name Harbor. My conservative estimate is 60 birds. I walked fast because of the rain, so there is no question of double counting.
At the north end of the bike path a very tight flock of ~25 parulas flew in. From their behavior, I think that they are additional birds. However, overlap possibility can't be completely eliminated for this group.
In addition to the usual wintering Common Yellowthroats, I tripped upon 9 "extras" and 2 additional Ovenbirds.
