A late-morning walk through Matheson Hammock Park produced FOTS sightings of Yellow-throated Vireo (1), Worm-eating Warbler (1) and Ovenbird (3). Also seen were Northern Parula (1), Prairie Warbler (2), Black-and-white Warbler (2), and American Redstart (3), plus several each of Red-eyed Vireo and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. All of the above were seen in the section of the park west of Old Cutler Road.

Fall migration has yet to step up to the next level at A D Barnes Park, where a post-lunch stop produced Northern Parula (2), Yellow-throated Warbler (1), Prairie Warbler (1) and American Redstart (1), plus a few each of Red-eyed Vireo and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. I also found the MIA Tufted Titmouse. Apparently, it has ceased calling incessantly, making it difficult to locate. The immature Cooper's Hawks were neither seen nor heard.
