The North Springs Improvement district used to have a large collection of birds at their home facility on Ramblewood drive in Coral Springs. The birds had babies and these were some times farmed out to people who had facility to care for them. Many people in Parkland had them as they are good watch dog, just not as noisy as the common white goose. We see them once or twice a year at vicinity of Sawgrass and University. By my guess these are quasi-domesticated releases or escapee.
