Good Morning Birders,

We arrived at AD Barnes at the 3pm and walked the nature trail starting by the boardwalk because the gate was open. Along the trail by the butterfly garden we heard and saw several blue-gray gnatcatchers and 2 black and white warblers and one Northern Paula. We walked to the nature center and turned around to walk back to the boardwalk. To our surprise we saw 2 Cooper's Hawk (one was immature) perched in a tree side by side. Also to our surprise we got to the boardwalk to get to our car and the gate was locked again. We headed over to the lake side and right away spotted 2 Green Heron (1 immature)and then 1 Yellow-Throated Warbler pictured above in a tree by the lake. The birds seen today are listed below we left about 4:20pm:

1 Yellow-Throated Warbler
7 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
2 Black & White Warbler
1 Northern Parula
1 Mockingbird
3 Blue Jay (heard many more calls by the lake trees)
