After checking Cutler Wetlands for any new shorebirds, I drove home on SW 232 St. between 97 and 87 Avenues and spotted a Black Tern over the first set of ponds south of the road. No other terns were visible in the area. Cutler Wetlands had plenty of the usual shorebirds, with over 40 Dowitchers, two of which I'm pretty sure were Long-billed. Seeing them side-by-side really allows a good comparison of field marks. Below is a link to a document on Dowitcher identification I've been using. Pretty cool stuff.
