Over the past 20+ years many banded pelicans
have been treated at the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station here in Miami. All that I have heard reports on have been from North and South Carolina. You need to check with the wildlife rescue groups in the Florida Keys and on Sanibel Island. I will try to post something on Florida Birds.

:Has anyone seen any banded brown pelicans? I have been banding juveniles in Louisiana for the last three years. We have banded 3,700 birds and had approximately 120 returns. If anyone sees banded birds please call 985-882-2000 or e-mail me.
