The Flamingo has been coming in and out of the wetlands for about a month now. I believe that the first posting was on July 9th so keep your hopes up. We saw the bird on the 12 of July, we were able to spend about 45 min. observing. Then it flew away and we did not see any postings until quite a few weeks later. But the good thing is that it continues to show up. It seems as if you forget your binoculars and camera at home and you just happen to be in the area is when you will most likely see the Mingo.
