I think the ENP bluebirds mostly came from Big Cypress. Certainly many did.
Also, I quote from the original posting in 2005: PTO asked "Is there a distinguishing marking between the residents and the visitors?"
I responded, "Not that is visible in the field, although the non-migratory resident birds (Sialia sialis grata) are larger-billed than the northern S. s. sialis."
