The Tropical Checkered Skipper was not photographed. Paul, myself and a few others were looking at it. My first thought was T. C. Skipper, but I had to consult my book to be sure, which of course I had left at home. Next time I plan to keep the book handy, since we do see some awesome butteflies and I really need to learn them better.
