The American Avocet continues at Cutler Wetlands, this afternoon conveniently located in an open area along 97 Avenue. Also present were a flock of ~20 Ruddy Turnstones in alternate plumage. Other species present included:
Mottled Duck
American White Pelican
Glossy Ibis
Semipalmated Plover
Killdeer
Black-necked Stilt
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Western Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper
Short-billed Dowitcher
Caspian Tern

Also this afternoon, I saw two Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks, plus 7-8 Pectoral Sandpipers in a field to the north of Homestead Motor Speedway.
