American Avocet - Cutler Wetlands 8/5 am

A quick check at Cutler Wetlands this morning produced a surprising basic plumaged American Avocet in the SW corner. Other shorebirds included Semipalmated, Western, Least & Stilt Sandpipers, Greater & Lesser Yellowlegs, Semipalmated Plover, Killdeer, Black-necked Stilt and dowitcher sp (1 half-hidden by grass and tucked up)
