I stopped late this afternoon to check and the Flamingo was not there, but the water levels have dropped and the shorebirds are increasing. The SE corner had 5 Short-billed Dowitchers, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, a dozen Least Sandpipers, a Solitary Sandpiper, and my FOTS Western Sandpiper.
While driving back along 232 St. I spotteed a Black Tern over one of the ponds for the Wastewater Treatment Plan on the south side of 232 St. The bird was is basic plumage, and was with a couple of Least Terns.
