Solitary Sandpiper along US-41

Hi all,

While driving back from the Homestead area around noon today I found a juvenile Solitary Sandpiper at the first boat launch area along the north side of US-41, west of Krome ave. but I did not find any Snail Kites on this trip back.

If your interested in Butterflies at all, Castellow Hammock Park is really getting good from all the rain. I found many Fulvious Hairstreaks, Mallow-Scrub Hairstreaks, Dina Yellows, & one each of Lyside Sulphur!, Digny Purplewing & Hammock Skipper. I also took the extra ten minutes or so to drive from Castellow to Cutler Wetlands to see the Flamingo which was ridicously easy to find!
