Man while there is a flamingo right near Miami I'm up in Pensacola for school orientation. We drove to Gainesville last night and made the rest of the trip today. A very long drive, and not much time to bird. However, there are birds at the many rest stops, and we did stop at Wakulla Springs for a little bit to swim and relax. Here are some of the birds seen so far...

Mississippi Kite- 10
Swallow-tailed Kite- 6
Red-tailed Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
Red-headed Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker
Brown-headed Nuthatch
Red-eyed Vireo
White-eyed Vireo
Acadian Flycatcher
Eastern Kingbird
Great-crested Flycatcher
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
Carolina Wren
Northern Parula
Summer Tanager

No snakes yet...
