All my Martins have fledged and leave the house early in the morning. They still come back at night for protection from the summer storms, but every day, they are around less and less. I think they raised 2-6 chicks. However, I did find a fledging very weak and waterlogged after a particulary heavy rainy period, and I put it back in the house (it later died - I think something else was wrong with it). They must gather with other Martins in the area during the day. I know Robert's Fruit Stand (on the way to ENP) has some Martin houses, so maybe they meet & socialize with his birds.
